- Conference reservations by non-University groups must be made
through the University Conference Office at 862-1900.
- All food served at events held in the MUB must be provided
by the MUB Catering Service. To arrange call University Hospitality
Services at 862-1900.
- Fees are based on total reservation time, which may be longer
than actual event time.
- Room rental fees are not assessed to UNH recognized Student
Organizations. Room fees are not assessed for University Departments
unless a fee or donation is being charged at the event. Room
rental charges for University Departments will be 25% of established
full day rates (see rate sheet). When room rental charges are
assessed for University Departments payment must be by Departmental
POB. Cash or personal checks made out to UNH will be accepted
by non-University affiliated groups. Payment in full must be
received at least (2) weeks prior to the event. All other charges
apply.
- Events that bring more than 400 people to the Memorial Union
Building at a time when there is no scheduled custodial coverage
will be required to pay for coverage at the established rate.
- Any reservation requiring early opening or late closing beyond
scheduled building hours will be assessed a fee of $25 per hour
for building manager coverage. An additional fee of $50 will
be assessed for events that necessitate a special opening of
the Memorial Union Building.
- Additional staffing, MUB security personnel, custodial coverage
and other expenses will be charged as necessary. Special openings
or late closings are subject to availability of staff.
- Capacities vary depending on room set up and are subject to
the approval of the Durham Fire Department.
- Special services provided by other campus departments must
be arranged by the sponsor and verified through the MUB Scheduling
Office. Billing for such services will be handled directly through
the provider.
- Room rental fees do not apply to vendors. A separate fee structure
applies.
- Any exceptions to stated rental policies, procedures and/or
rates must be requested in writing to the Director of the Memorial
Union or his/her designee at least two weeks prior to the event.

- Your reservation allows your organization to request the use
of MUB equipment such as slide projectors, easels, flipcharts,
podiums, microphones, etc. A detailed equipment
list with pricing, is available from the MUB Scheduling
Office or our website.
- Program spaces are equipped with permanent sound systems.
Cinemas with 35mm, VHS and DVD video projection. Specs are available
from the MUB Scheduling Office.
