Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities (most to least frequent):
Retrieve mail and packages

Sort and distribute mail, packages, and mailbox keys correctly and efficiently
Log packages and keys into and out of Trackpad system
Customer service in person and on the phone

Enforce GSS policies, politely and professionally
Check e-mail regularly for work-related updates
Ship packages using USPS Services

Computer competency

Use cash register

Use credit card and Cat's Cache machines
Count cash drawers and Prepare deposits
Neaten and wipe down surfaces
Empty recycling and trash bins
Sweep
Mop

Time requirements:
At least one weekday 10 am – 12pm or 12pm – 2pm shift
At least eight of the hours listed below each week that classes or exams are in:

Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 7 pm
Friday 7:30 am - 4 pm
Saturday 10 am - 1 pm
At least two 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm meetings each semester

Expected to return to campus at the beginning of Opening Weekend during the Fall Semester
Students who live within walking distance are also required to work on curtailed operations days.

Physical Requirement:

Must be able to lift 30 pounds 5 feet from the ground.

Must be able to maneuver easily in narrow and crowded areas.
